Board of Directors Meetings
Board meetings are set one year in advance, with at least 4 meetings in a year. Extraordinary meetings may be called as necessary. Agendas are set in advance, divided into clear categories, such as to approve, ratify, evaluate, acknowledge, and monitor progress. The Secretary to the Board sends invitations together with the meeting’s agenda and supporting documents 7 days before the meeting so that directors have sufficient time to study the information. Each meeting normally lasts 1-2 hours. At each meeting, the Chairman grants every director the opportunity to freely express their opinions. In 2009, the Board of Directors held 4 regular meetings and 1 extraordinary meeting. Details of attendance of each of the directors are as follows:
